Achieving internal harmony involves learning how to manage your emotions and self-soothe. I will work alongside you in this journey, helping you to integrate mind and body. Through the utilization of clinical hypnosis and hypnotherapy, I will help you re-center yourself and interact with the external world with a renewed sense of calm and confidence. I am certified in clinical hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), and offer hypnotherapy services in working with the following clinical concerns: Performance Enhancement Social Phobia Specific Phobias Check with me if you are interested in utilizing hypnosis for a concern not on this list. In some cases, I work with clients exclusively using hypnosis. This is often time-limited work focused on a specific issue. However, in other cases, the hypnosis is integrated into the existing psychotherapy. For example, I might be meeting with someone discussing issues related to anxiety. We might utilize hypnosis for a few sessions during the course of therapy to target the anxiety in a focused manner, and then might return to regular talk-therapy. I strongly encourage you to read the page entitled "What is Hypnosis?" It describes what hypnosis is and is not, differentiates between the state of hypnosis and the process of clinical hypnosis, differentiates between hypnosis and other related concepts such as meditation and mindfulness, and answers frequently asked questions.
