Groups are capped at 10 members. A minimum of 5 members is required to meet. All groups run 75-90 minutes. Office location varies by group. The following groups are now forming: Adult Relationship Group This adult group will focus on general relationship issues (peer/romantic/work), including the themes of communication, commitment, trust, and intimacy. Special attention will be given to interpersonal interactions between the group members, with an emphasis on greater awareness of "process" or how we relate to one another verbally and non-verbally. One of the goals of this group is to help members develop greater awareness of their interactions in relationships. Membership in the group is open, which means that adults of all relationship statuses and sexual orientations are welcome. Peer Relationship Group (High School Males, ages 15-18) 14 S. Bryn Mawr Ave., Suite 203, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 Mondays, 7 - 8:30 PM / Status: Group begins in September 2011; accepting new members This group is for high school males, ages 15-18. Ideal members are male adolescents who have had difficulty making or maintaining friendships, or connecting with other peers. This group will feature a mix of didactic skills building (empathy development, assertiveness training), support, and interpersonal process. The process part of the group will involve members working "in the moment" to provide useful feedback to one another about how they experience each other relationally. Coping with Anxiety & Stress Group 132 S. 17th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania TBA / Status: Has yet to begin; accepting new members This group will focus on daily anxieties and phobias. The purpose of the group is to share these fears and worries in a group setting, and receive useful feedback.
